The specific objectives of the project are:

• Carrying out informative actions in order to become familiar with biostimulants, their correct use and the current regulations and market;
• Carrying out demonstrative actions in the field, in University facilities (greenhouses and laboratories) and in the locations of companies in the sector that will host evaluation trials for biostimulants;
• Supporting agricultural companies and professionals by supplying them with scientifical notions and techniques regarding biostimulants, their activity and action and the potential ways to use them;
• Raising the farmers’ awareness of their important role in the protection of the territory, which is achieved also through a rational use of agricultural products, from the perspective of economic and environmental sustainability;
• Supplying adequate tools for the on-going education of company consultants and every professional in the sector of crops of agricultural interest;
• Promoting the exchange of knowledge in a sector that will significantly grow and greatly develop in the years to come.
