The genetic improvement of agriculture species has to be supported by a dynamic and articulated experimental activity. For this reason we test numerous species in the most diverse climatic and , environmentental conditions and crop system.

When working with living material (plants), the interaction with the environment may conduct to different results in different conditions.
Agricola 2000 is able to offer a testing service of materials derived from new vegetable varieties, new fertilizers and new crop techniques.
- Agronomical trials: they verify the adaptability of crops in different growing conditions and crop techniques, for example, fertilization tests, seed density, irrigation, etc.
- Variety trials: new varieties are compared to the best reference testers on the market, and the productive, qualitative and adaptability characteristics, present in different growing environments, are verified.
Experimental equipment is used for all kinds of testing, but all highly technological: plot harvest-combine with computerized systems for weighing and automatic determination of the humidity level, plot mechanic and pneumatic drills and laboratory equipment (driers, scales, instruments for measuring the humidity).
