We are able to evaluate the effectiveness and residues both in open field and greenhouses with varietal screening and testing and analysis for the evaluation of zero residue, in anticipation of the next European biostimulants law.
Furthermore, we are also able, using our growth chambers, to create stress conditions and evaluate the effective response of the plant to treatments with biostimulants.
Thanks to NDVI assessment we are able to verify any change in the photosynthetic activity, and with the use of thermal cameras we can detect any change before the stress is visible to the farmer.
This also allows us to realize time-lapse both on leaves and roots, through studies in rhizo-box.
The characterization of the products also goes through tests that not only evaluate the response of the single plant, but also the seeds through germination tests (with tests in petri dishes), but also in fruit in post-harvest, thanks to refrigerator rooms, where the sample is kept, assessing their shelf life.
Apart from this, we also carried out biological test for the evaluation of the response of model plant to the application of biostimulant in order to evaluate the action of the test product in genomic and transcriptomic level of the plant. The working protocol is divided into three modular experimental phases: a screening and morphological measurements in order to assess the effect at a phenotypic level; Histochemical analysis in order to study the effect on leaf epidermis and gene expression analysis genes in order to evaluate gene activation and expression levels of specific metabolic pathways.
